Who am I?
My website address is: https://pacificguy.com.
Data collected?
I do not allow comments or profiles to be created. I don’t have the time to monitor them. However, if you fill out the Contact Me form and send it then I have the information you submitted. I do have website tools that provide detailed information about my website visitors, such as the area of the world you are from, what pages you visited, and if you came to this site through another site. However, the analytics are anonymized. There is not enough data collected to know who you are and even how to make contact if I wanted to.
Cookies
I do not allow comments or allow people to sign-up and post articles, so as far as I know this site does not have cookies for visitors.
What about embedded content from other websites?
Most content is original, but some articles may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. This is nothing that I control.
Who do I share your data with?
No one. Seriously, probably only my wife and mom read this site. If this were to become a huge money making machine, then your data is not for sale. I do not like it when companies do that to me and I will not do it to you.
How long do I retain your data?
I retain email communications, which includes data sent from forms, for 20 years. My digital footprint is slowly getting deleted, but it does get deleted, which includes anything you have sent me.
What rights do you have over your data?
Ask me. I’ll delete it. Not sure what data it would be, but I’ll go see what I have if you tell me what to look for.
Where I send your data?
To my inbox. That’s it.
